As an Access Analyst II at Essentia Health, you will play a key role in ensuring secure and efficient access to healthcare systems and patient data. Your responsibilities include analyzing access requests, monitoring compliance with security policies, and collaborating with IT and clinical teams to streamline identity management processes. You will also assist in audits, troubleshoot access issues, and contribute to the development of access management best practices.

• Review and process user access requests for various healthcare applications.
• Monitor and audit access logs to detect unauthorized activities.
• Coordinate with department leads to ensure appropriate role-based access controls.
• Maintain documentation of access policies and procedures.
• Provide support for access-related incidents and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Participate in system upgrades and integration projects related to identity and access management.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in access management, IAM, or IT support within a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) and HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency with identity management tools (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
