We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at Ebury, a leading Fintech company specializing in international payments and currency solutions. As an Analytics Engineer, you will design and maintain data pipelines, build scalable data models, and create business-critical dashboards to drive decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using modern cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Develop and optimize data models (star schemas, dimensional models) to support reporting and analytics
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all data sources
• Collaborate with data scientists to enable machine learning model deployment and monitoring
• Automate data workflows and monitor performance to ensure SLAs are met
• Document data pipelines, data definitions, and business logic
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and best practices

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SQL, Python, and data modeling, with experience in cloud data warehouses and BI tools. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and have a passion for turning data into business value.

• Experience: 3+ years as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role in a data-driven environment
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Proficiency in data modeling and ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Luigi)
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Fintech or financial data (payments, FX, risk)
  • Knowledge of streaming data platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
