Role Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a remote contract basis. In this role, you will support senior project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects across various infrastructure sectors. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Track project progress and report on key milestones
• Coordinate communication between stakeholders (clients, engineers, subcontractors)
• Review project documentation, contracts, and change orders
• Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes
• Support risk assessment and mitigation efforts
• Help manage resource allocation and procurement
• Prepare status reports for senior management
• Document lessons learned and contribute to process improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or assistant project management within infrastructure, construction, or utilities
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with contract administration and change management
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) is a plus
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred
