Overview
As the Associate Director (AD) of Tech Product Management for Solution Delivery (Authoring & Planning), you will lead the strategic and operational management of our authoring and planning solutions within the broader product management portfolio. This role focuses on delivering innovative, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that empower our research, development, and commercial teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmaps, oversee solution delivery, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product lifecycle for authoring and planning tools, from concept to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Define and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and user impact.
- Partner with engineering, UX, and business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Drive agile delivery processes, ensuring timely and high-quality releases that meet user needs.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and leverage data-driven insights to inform future iterations.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party technology options to support product capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the product team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or technology solution delivery, preferably in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex products or platforms, with experience in authoring, content management, or planning tools (e.g., Veeva, Documentum, SharePoint).
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the life sciences industry is a plus.
