As a Bartender at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in our luxury bars and lounges. You will craft classic and innovative cocktails, engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience, and maintain a pristine bar environment. Your expertise will contribute to the hotel's reputation for world-class hospitality. This role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and upselling
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with the bar team and other departments to ensure seamless service
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Participate in training sessions and product knowledge updates

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or bar
• Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, equivalent) is preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree is a plus
