About the Role
As a Bilingual Financial Planning Software Solutions Consultant at RBC, you will be the trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, bridging the gap between financial planning expertise and software technology. You will lead discovery sessions, configure RBC's financial planning tools, and deliver tailored solutions that empower clients to achieve their financial goals. This role requires both deep financial knowledge and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable software configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Conduct needs assessments with financial advisors and institutional clients to understand their planning workflows and pain points.
- Solution Design: Configure and customize financial planning software modules, including scenario modeling, retirement projections, and tax optimization calculators.
- Implementation & Training: Manage end-to-end onboarding of clients onto RBC’s planning platforms, including data migration, system integration testing, and user training sessions (in English and French).
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose software issues, coordinate with development teams for bug fixes, and provide Tier 2 support to clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of regulatory changes (e.g., tax laws, retirement rules) and update software logic accordingly. Propose enhancements to product roadmaps.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed configuration guides, user manuals, and SOPs for all deployed solutions.
