Symetri is seeking an experienced BIM Consultant specializing in Electrical systems to guide clients in implementing and optimizing BIM processes for electrical design and documentation.

As a BIM Consultant specializing in Electrical systems, you will partner with our clients to elevate their use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for electrical design and documentation. Your role involves:

• Conducting assessments of current BIM workflows and identifying areas for improvement in electrical disciplines.
• Developing and implementing customized BIM standards, templates, and families for electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage).
• Providing hands-on training and mentoring to client teams on Revit and BIM 360 best practices.
• Facilitating clash detection and coordination meetings between electrical and other MEP trades.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, guides, and training materials specific to electrical BIM.
• Staying current with industry trends and software updates to offer strategic advice.
• Supporting clients during project kick-offs, reviews, and closeouts.

• 5+ years of experience in BIM/Revit with a focus on electrical systems
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes (NEC), and construction documentation
• Experience creating and managing Revit families and templates
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
• Preferred: Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent certification
