Visual Connections is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our remote team. You will drive data-driven insights and process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

As a Business Analyst at Visual Connections, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and our technical teams. You'll drive data-driven decision-making by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and recommending solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience. This remote contract role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects with a forward-thinking organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements
• Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to uncover trends and insights
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to document current-state processes and design future-state improvements
• Create user stories, process flows, and wireframes to communicate solution designs
• Support project management activities including sprint planning, status reporting, and risk identification
• Validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria and coordinate UAT with business users
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all analysis and project artifacts

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities; strong attention to detail
• Tools: Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms
• Work Style: Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment, and comfortable with ambiguity
