As a Data Analyst II - Regulatory Reporting at Ebury, you will be instrumental in ensuring our financial operations comply with global regulatory standards. You will work within the Regulatory Reporting team to extract, analyze, and report data to governing bodies, supporting risk management and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets for regulatory submissions (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, FINREP)
• Develop and maintain automated reporting frameworks and dashboards using SQL, Python, and BI tools
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and finance teams to interpret regulatory changes and implement data requirements
• Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts
• Document reporting processes and ensure audit trails are maintained
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on trend analysis
• Support ad-hoc requests from regulators and internal stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in regulatory reporting or financial services
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex datasets
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Spanish
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and version control (Git) is a plus
