Design intuitive Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for Husky's injection molding machines, working remotely to enhance operator experience and machine efficiency.

As a Designer, Development (HMI) at Husky Injection Molding, you will be responsible for creating and refining Human Machine Interface (HMI) designs for our injection molding machines. Working closely with software engineers and product managers, you will translate complex machine operations into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance operator efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype HMI screens and workflows using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or specialized HMI software)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on designs
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve interface clarity
• Maintain design consistency across product lines and adhere to Husky’s brand guidelines
• Document design specifications and support development handoff
• Stay updated on HMI design trends and industrial UX best practices

• 3+ years of experience in HMI, UI/UX design, or related field
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Axure
• Understanding of industrial machine interfaces and user workflows
• Strong portfolio demonstrating HMI or complex system design
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
