Join Jack Henry & Associates as a DevOps Engineer III within our Payments division. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation pipelines that support our high-availability payment processing systems. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments, monitoring, and incident response. You will drive the adoption of best practices in CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native architectures, ensuring that our payment platforms remain secure, scalable, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda) for payment applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Automate configuration management and provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance standards (PCI-DSS) and secure infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles, preferably in financial or payment technology.
• Cloud: Deep expertise in AWS (certification preferred) – EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation.
• Automation: Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Containers: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Compliance: Understanding of PCI-DSS, SOC2, or other security frameworks.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for cross-team collaboration.
