Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join Shield Consulting Solutions for a remote contract role, focusing on automating and optimizing critical infrastructure for a leading consulting firm.

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join Shield Consulting Solutions on a remote contract basis. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support our client's software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Automating deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects
• Implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar
• Troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis
• Collaborating with developers to optimize application performance
• Ensuring compliance with security best practices
• Documenting system configurations and processes

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
