Full Job Description

Entarian is seeking a mid-level DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices into our development and operations pipeline. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and security teams to automate security checks, monitor infrastructure, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tools, managing cloud infrastructure, and responding to security incidents. This is a fully remote role open to candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with embedded security scanning (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents, conducting root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed
• Manage and harden cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and data protection strategies
• Evaluate and integrate new security tools and technologies into the development lifecycle
• Document security processes, architecture, and incident response procedures

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, security engineering, or a related role
• Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (AWS preferred)
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
• CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE)
• Security Tools: Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, OWASP ZAP), vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions
• Compliance: Understanding of SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS standards (preferred)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
