Join driveblocks as an Expert Perception Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines for autonomous driving systems, working on cutting-edge sensor data processing at scale.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and implement sophisticated data pipelines that process and analyze large-scale sensor data from autonomous vehicles. Your work will directly contribute to the development of safe and reliable autonomous driving systems.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing perception data from various sensor modalities (cameras, LiDAR, radar)
• Develop and optimize data storage and retrieval systems for massive datasets
• Implement algorithms for data cleaning, calibration, and synchronization
• Collaborate with perception engineers to define data requirements and quality metrics
• Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Create documentation and tools for data management and analysis
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with focus on large-scale data processing
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with C++ is a plus
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of sensor data formats and calibration procedures for autonomous vehicles
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
