Join Carbmee as a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and deploy carbon management solutions for enterprise clients in Germany. You will work closely with customers, requiring fluent German and strong technical skills.

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team at Carbmee, a fast-growing climate tech startup based in Munich. In this role, you will work directly with our enterprise customers to understand their carbon management needs and design, build, and deploy custom software solutions on top of our platform. You will be the bridge between our product engineering team and the clients, ensuring rapid integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on technical role that requires both deep software engineering skills and the ability to communicate in German with stakeholders on a daily basis.

• Fluency in German (C1 or higher) and professional proficiency in English
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or forward deployed engineer
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to travel to client sites in Germany and Europe up to 20% of the time
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-facing communication
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
