We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead Spiko's engineering team. This role is critical in driving technical strategy, building scalable systems, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to shape the company's technical roadmap and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
• Drive best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and manage technical debt.
• Establish and track key engineering metrics to measure progress and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern software architecture, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse engineering teams, manage performance, and foster collaboration.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to translate business goals into actionable technical plans.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with experience presenting to executives and stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
