We are seeking a skilled Industrial Control Panel Technician to join our team. You will assemble, wire, and test custom control panels for industrial applications, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.

As an Industrial Control Panel Technician at RED Group, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the electrical control systems that power our clients' operations. You will work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble, wire, and test custom industrial control panels. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that every panel meets strict industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Assemble control panels including mounting components such as PLCs, relays, motor starters, VFDs, and terminal blocks.
• Wire panels according to NEC and UL standards, using proper wire routing and termination techniques.
• Perform continuity checks, functional tests, and troubleshooting on completed panels.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and improve panel layouts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document assembly processes and maintain records of job progress.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship in electrical or industrial controls preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial control panel assembly and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for panel fabrication.
• Knowledge of UL 508A and NEC electrical codes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability for occasional travel to client sites for installation or troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
