Join Windsor Machine Group as an Industrial Controls Integrator to design, program, and commission advanced control systems for industrial automation projects in Amherstburg, Ontario.

Windsor Machine Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Integrator / Controls Engineer to join our team in Amherstburg, Ontario. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning control systems for a variety of industrial automation projects, including material handling, robotic integration, and process control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs based on customer specifications
• Create electrical schematics and control panel layouts
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT)
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues during installation and startup
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and electricians to ensure timely project delivery
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams
• Maintain documentation and update as-built drawings

Work Environment: This is a remote contract role based in Amherstburg, Ontario, with occasional travel to client sites across Canada and the US. You will work closely with a dedicated project team and have access to remote support tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in industrial controls integration
• Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Modbus)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., CSA, UL, IEC 61508)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
