The Children's Aid Society of the District of Thunder Bay is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring that all staff have reliable access to technology needed for our critical child protection services.
Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, and networks; diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems; providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person; managing data backups and recovery processes; and implementing basic security measures to protect sensitive information.
You will collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs, recommend upgrades, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the well-being of children and families in Thunder Bay by keeping our systems running smoothly.
