Join our innovative team as a remote Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain robust cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps practices. You'll drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our systems.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure systems. You will work closely with development teams to automate deployment pipelines, manage cloud resources (AWS/GCP/Azure), and ensure service reliability. This is a remote contract position ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are passionate about infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement cloud-native infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and improve observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and reliability
• Automate routine tasks and contribute to internal tooling development
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.)
• Document system architecture and operational procedures

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – certified preferred
• Strong proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go)
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Chef)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Nice to have: Experience with service mesh (Istio), serverless architectures, or database administration
