Role Overview
As an Integration & Distributed Systems Engineer, you will architect and maintain the distributed infrastructure powering the Cognitive Twin—a human-like digital replica that learns, reasons, and interacts autonomously. You will bridge hardware, software, and AI modules into a cohesive, scalable platform.
Key Responsibilities
- System Integration: Seamlessly connect perception, planning, control, and simulation subsystems using microservices and message-passing frameworks (ROS 2, DDS, MQTT).
- Distributed Architecture: Design fault-tolerant, low-latency communication protocols for real-time sensor data and decision logic across edge and cloud environments.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize network throughput, serialization, and synchronization to meet strict latency and safety requirements.
- Tooling & Automation: Develop CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring solutions for continuous deployment of cognitive models.
- Collaboration: Partner with AI researchers, roboticists, and software engineers to refine integration patterns and validate end-to-end behavior.
- Documentation: Maintain clear architectural diagrams, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
