About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration & Distributed Systems Engineer to join our Cognitive Twin team at Neura Robotics. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and integrating distributed systems that power our next-generation cognitive robots. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components, enabling human-like cognitive capabilities in our robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems architecture for cognitive robot twins
• Integrate various subsystems (sensors, actuators, AI modules) into a cohesive platform
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and AI engineering teams
• Implement robust communication protocols (e.g., ROS2, MQTT, gRPC)
• Debug and resolve integration issues across multiple platforms
• Contribute to system documentation and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions

Technical Environment

• Languages: Python, C++, Rust
• Frameworks: ROS2, ZeroMQ, Apache Kafka
• Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Platforms: Linux, embedded systems
• Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets, MQTT

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with focus on distributed systems or integration
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (consistency, fault tolerance, scalability)
  • Experience with ROS2 or similar robotic middleware
  • Knowledge of real-time systems and embedded development
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
