We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Field Technician to join our team at GuentherTech. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems at various client sites. You will work closely with clients to resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals at client locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues onsite.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability.
• Provide end-user training and support as needed.
• Document all service activities, including issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the help desk team to escalate complex issues.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Travel to various client sites in the Wellesley, Ontario area.

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a field technician or similar role (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to travel to multiple client sites daily
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus
