We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer (m/w/d) to join our service desk team in Flensburg. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal employees, ensuring smooth IT operations and resolving technical issues efficiently. You will work closely with infrastructure and security teams to maintain high availability of systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second level support for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Office 365.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and create knowledge base articles.
• Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts from IT monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims.
• Provide training to end users on best practices and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations (GDPR).

Requirements

• Education: Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019.
  • Experience with Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Languages: Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good working knowledge of English (B1/B2).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Certifications: Preferred but not required – CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Other: Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to occasionally travel to remote offices within the region.
