As a Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) at EXP, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems for a range of infrastructure and industrial projects. This position requires a licensed professional engineer with strong technical expertise and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for immediate registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering design, preferably in building services.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., OBC, NBCC, ASHRAE).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in project management and client interaction.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits as needed.
