THEMESOFT is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to lead the implementation of the OSCAR manufacturing execution system for a remote role based in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania.

-The MES Engineer will lead the implementation of the OSCAR manufacturing execution system. This role is critical in bridging manufacturing operations with IT systems to optimize production efficiency, quality, and traceability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, test, and deploy OSCAR solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for MES implementation
• Configure and customize OSCAR modules (e.g., production scheduling, inventory management, quality control)
• Integrate MES with existing ERP, PLC, and SCADA systems
• Develop test plans, execute user acceptance testing, and provide training
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices
• Stay current with industry standards (ISA-95, GAMP) and OSCAR updates

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in MES implementation, preferably with OSCAR or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial automation
• Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system integration
• Experience with programming languages (Python, C#, or similar)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Desirable: Certification in ISA-95 or relevant MES technologies
