Join Sonar as a NetSuite Administrator to manage and optimize our NetSuite ERP environment in a fully remote, contract role based in Bochum.

We are looking for a NetSuite Administrator to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of our NetSuite ERP system. You will work closely with finance, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and support business growth. Your tasks include managing user access, workflows, custom records, and integrations, as well as troubleshooting issues and implementing best practices. This is a remote-friendly contract position based in Bochum, Germany, with flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the NetSuite environment, including user roles, permissions, and security settings
• Configure and customize NetSuite modules (e.g., Financials, Order Management, Inventory) to meet business needs
• Manage integration with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Shopify, or banking platforms
• Develop and maintain custom records, fields, workflows, and saved searches
• Provide Level 2/3 support to internal users, resolving tickets and training staff
• Perform regular system audits, data cleanup, and performance tuning
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend process improvements
• Stay up-to-date with NetSuite releases, new features, and best practices

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite administration: roles, permissions, workflows, custom records, and saved searches
• Experience with SuiteScript (1.0/2.0) and SuiteFlow is a plus
• Familiarity with integrations using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or third-party middleware
• Understanding of ERP business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English communication skills; German is a bonus
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities
