Arctiq is seeking a dedicated NOC Specialist to monitor, triage, and escalate incidents for our remote 24/7 network operations team. Ensure system uptime and rapid response to critical alerts.

As a NOC Specialist at Arctiq, you will be the first line of defense in monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Real-time monitoring of network systems, servers, and applications using industry-standard tools.
• Incident detection and triage – rapidly identifying, categorizing, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams.
• Documentation – maintaining accurate logs of events, actions taken, and handoff notes for shift transitions.
• Communication – providing clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership during outages.
• Proactive maintenance – performing routine checks, patching, and scripted tasks under change management.
• Collaboration – working with engineering and support teams to improve monitoring thresholds and response playbooks.

• Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience: 2+ years in a NOC, IT operations, or network support role
• Technical skills:
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows server administration
  • Basic scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus
• Soft skills:

  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
• Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
