As the Operations Manager for Dalkia in Bridgwater, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to our client. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will lead a team of supervisors and operatives, focusing on performance management, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your role will involve:

• Managing operational budgets and driving cost efficiencies
• Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed
• Developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance service delivery
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits
• Liaising with clients to understand their needs and resolve issues
• Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to maintain high performance standards
• Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar senior operational role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., in business management, engineering) preferred
