Exergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within the energy sector. This remote contract position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects from anywhere in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform site visits (as needed) to oversee project implementation and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for licensure in Alberta.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
