About the Role
As a QA Automation Engineer at Luxoft, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions for global clients in the automotive and financial industries. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation
Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation engineering
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar automation tools
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, or similar)
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive (e.g., infotainment systems) or financial services industry
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
