Job Overview

PNC Financial Services Group is looking for a seasoned Quality Engineering Manager Senior to lead our quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and execution of quality strategies for our financial software and systems. You will manage a team of quality engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality engineering roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of excellence
• Define testing strategies, including automation, performance, and security testing
• Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle
• Establish metrics and dashboards to track quality and provide regular reports to senior leadership
• Champion best practices in test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps integration
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party testing tools as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Knowledge of financial services industry and regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI-DSS) is a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment
