As a Security Monitoring Analyst at AXA, you will be a key member of our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team, responsible for real-time monitoring, triage, and escalation of security events. You will analyze logs, network traffic, and alerts from various security tools to identify potential threats, support incident response efforts, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security platforms
• Perform initial triage, investigation, and classification of security incidents
• Document and track incidents using ticketing systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Collaborate with senior analysts and other IT teams during incident response and remediation
• Assist in developing and refining security monitoring rules and playbooks
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices
• Participate in shift rotations (including some weekends as needed) to maintain 24/7 coverage
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and training materials

• Proven experience (1+ years) in a security operations center (SOC) or similar security monitoring role
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and log analysis
• Familiarity with incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, SANS) and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable
