Creative Support is seeking an experienced Senior Bid Writer to lead the end-to-end bid process, crafting compelling proposals that secure new business opportunities and drive organisational growth.

Leading the preparation and submission of high-quality tender proposals and funding applications to secure new business and support the growth of our organisation. This role involves managing the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission, ensuring that all responses are compelling, compliant, and delivered on time.

• Develop and implement bid strategies in collaboration with senior management
• Write, edit, and coordinate responses to tenders, RFPs, and grant applications
• Manage a pipeline of bid opportunities and maintain a bid library
• Liaise with internal departments to gather technical and operational input
• Ensure all submissions meet client requirements and company standards
• Conduct post-submission reviews and lessons learned sessions
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance bid quality
• Support the development of case studies, CVs, and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate records of bid activity and outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes and templates

• Proven experience as a Bid Writer or Senior Bid Writer, ideally in the health, social care, or housing sector
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear, persuasive proposals
• Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience using CRM or bid management software is desirable
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes (e.g., OJEU, CCS frameworks) is advantageous
• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
