As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at HOOPP, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support the organization's mission-critical pension and investment operations. You will work with a team of talented engineers to implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure
• Automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
• Developing CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability
• Collaborating with development teams to optimize cloud resource utilization
• Participating in on-call rotations and incident response
• Contributing to architecture reviews and technical documentation
• Staying current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Deep knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
