About the Role

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Data Analyst Engineer to join our analytics team in St. Louis. You will bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics, leveraging your expertise to build robust data pipelines, perform complex analyses, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions for our financial advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators.
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics/data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience with data warehouse concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling) and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services (Redshift, BigQuery).
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
