adjoe is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead experimentation and A/B testing initiatives, driving data-informed product decisions in a fast-paced ad tech environment.

As a Senior Data Analyst - Experimentation & A/B Testing at adjoe, you will be the central driver of data-informed product decisions. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments across our mobile advertising platform, ensuring that every feature launch, algorithm change, and optimization step is rigorously tested and validated. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define test hypotheses, calculate required sample sizes, implement monitoring dashboards, and deliver actionable insights. Your work will directly impact the performance of millions of ad impressions and the growth of our publisher and advertiser partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define experiment design (A/B, multivariate, sequential testing) and statistical methodology
• Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines for experiment results using SQL and Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize experiments and interpret findings
• Develop and document best practices for causal inference, power analysis, and multiple testing corrections
• Present insights to leadership and recommend product roadmap adjustments based on experiment outcomes
• Continuously improve our experimentation platform by integrating new tools and techniques

• Education: Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 5+ years in data analysis with at least 3 years focused on experimentation and A/B testing, preferably in ad tech or high-traffic digital products.
• Statistical expertise: Deep understanding of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, statistical power, Bayesian methods, and common pitfalls (p-hacking, Simpson's paradox).
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, scipy, statsmodels), and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Experimentation tools: Hands-on experience with platforms like Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, or custom in-house solutions.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence product decisions.
• Languages: Fluent in English; German is a plus.
