N-iX is looking for a Senior DevOps (AWS) Engineer to join our remote team in Spain. You will design and manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure system reliability.

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps (AWS) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Ensure security best practices and compliance (IAM policies, encryption, network security)
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployments and resource utilization
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies
• Document architecture, processes, and configurations

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
