About the Role

We are building the next-generation edge computing platform that powers real-time applications for millions of users. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own the infrastructure that runs on a distributed network of edge nodes, ensuring low latency, high availability, and seamless scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple edge locations.
• Automate deployment pipelines for microservices using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Monitor and optimize system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and custom alerting.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and improve resource utilization.
• Manage cloud and bare-metal infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 99.99% uptime.
• Drive security best practices and compliance with GDPR.
• Contribute to open-source edge computing projects.

Your Profile

You are a seasoned DevOps engineer passionate about distributed systems and edge computing. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 2 years focused on edge computing or CDN infrastructure.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes (production clusters, networking, RBAC).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and configuration management.
  • Deep understanding of Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with edge computing concepts (e.g., edge caching, load balancing, WAF).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Language: Fluent English (B2+); German is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
