About the Role

Pelico is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our manufacturing operations platform. This role involves collaborating with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Monitor system performance and reliability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
• Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
• Mentor junior team members and advocate DevOps culture

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS or GCP)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog)
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
