About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps & Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our secure, scalable infrastructure. You will bridge development, security, and operations to enable rapid, reliable, and compliant software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Design and enforce security policies and compliance controls (IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning)
• Automate CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
• Build and maintain internal developer platforms to streamline deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define SLIs/SLOs and implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Conduct incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring system resilience
• Mentor junior engineers and champion DevSecOps best practices

Technologies

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• CI/CD: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins with security scanning plugins
• Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications a plus)
• Security Tools: SonarQube, Trivy, Checkmarx, OWASP ZAP
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (production clusters, networking, security policies)
• Proven ability to embed security into the software development lifecycle
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging at scale
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
