Join MagnoTherm as a Senior Engineer for Peripherals to lead the development of critical hardware components for our innovative magnetic refrigeration systems.

As a Senior Engineer for Peripherals at MagnoTherm, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of peripheral hardware components for our magnetic refrigeration systems. You will work closely with the R&D team to ensure seamless integration of peripherals such as sensors, actuators, pumps, and heat exchangers. Your role will involve conceptualizing new solutions, conducting simulations, prototyping, and testing to meet performance and reliability targets. You will also collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to bring designs to production. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering with a focus on thermal systems.

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in thermal or refrigeration systems
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)
• Experience with sensor integration, control systems, and embedded hardware
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
