We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Catalonia, Spain. In this role, you will lead process optimization initiatives, design efficient manufacturing workflows, and ensure high-quality production standards for security products such as banknotes and smart cards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement strategies and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
- Develop and implement process control plans and standard operating procedures.
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for process-related issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to scale new product introductions.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor process metrics and generate reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Proven expertise in process optimization and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with global teams.
