EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote team in Spain. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-native platforms.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at EPAM Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure. Your expertise will drive automation, incident response, and continuous improvement of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build highly available, fault-tolerant systems
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
• Drive adoption of SRE best practices across the organization
• Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and database concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
