Design and build reliable connectors for Quadient's intelligent automation platform, enabling seamless integrations with third-party systems using Python/JavaScript.

As a Software Engineer, Connectors on the Quadient team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust connector solutions that integrate Quadient's intelligent automation platform with a wide array of third-party applications, services, and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements, build scalable and reliable connectors, and ensure high performance and security. Your work will directly enable customers to streamline their workflows and achieve greater automation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test new connectors for various external systems and platforms (e.g., cloud services, databases, ERP systems).
• Maintain and improve existing connector codebase, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues reported by customers or internal teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to APIs and integrations.

• Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on integration, API development, or building connectors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and JSON/XML; familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys) and security best practices.
• Tools: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to root-cause complex integration issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
