As a Software Engineer on a fixed-term contract (2 years), you will work on cutting-edge projects involving web applications, mobile platforms, and system integrations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality, scalable software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to business requirements
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical specifications
- Document code and technical processes
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience (2+ years) in software development using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., Spring, React, Angular) and RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient English communication skills; German is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
