We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (Java) to join our team in Paris. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications that power our global e-commerce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability across our distributed systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code
• Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to define requirements
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to team best practices
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and proposing improvements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in SQL and database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
