We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Technology team at PEMCO Insurance. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power our insurance operations and enhance customer experiences. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable, reliable, and secure applications in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
