As a Software Engineer at ECO FLEET SERVICES INC, you will architect, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that power our fleet management platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design microservices, enhance system performance, and ensure robust API integrations. This is a 100% remote contract role, offering the freedom to work from anywhere in Canada while contributing to impactful projects in the logistics and fleet industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build and maintain backend services using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Go).
• System Optimization: Improve system reliability, scalability, and latency through code refactoring and infrastructure tuning.
• API Development: Create RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams in an agile environment.
• Documentation: Write clear technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshooting: Debug production issues and implement permanent fixes.
