We are seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. In this remote contract role, you will lead reporting initiatives, develop dashboards, and provide data insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced reporting dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Manage and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from multiple sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Reporting Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
• Experience with data warehouses, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote contract setting.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Reporting Analyst or similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL querying and database knowledge.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas).
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
